Tapanui
The Blue Mountains and the Pomahaka River provide the perfect backdrop to the friendly farming town of Tapanui, located in West Otago. Nearby Leithen Glen Reserve with its lavish lawns and stone barbecues is a lovely spot to relax or meander the Blue Mountain Nursery, which specialises in the propagation and growing of rhododendrons.
Stretch the legs and the lines and enjoy some of New Zealand’s finest trout fishing in Pomahaka River or take on the 18 hole golf course that sits centre stage in town.
