Clutha Views needs enthusiastic volunteers to join us in making every day special for our residents! Whether you’re outgoing or enjoy more personal connections, we’ve got activities to match your style

Volunteer at the Balclutha Community Garden

BCGI are on the lookout for enthusiastic volunteers to help keep our garden growing strong! Whether you’ve got a green thumb or are just keen to learn, they’d love your help with planting, watering, weeding, harvesting, and even planning the garden. Plus, if you enjoy connecting with people, you can assist with selling our produce (for donations) on Saturday mornings when we’re open!

Cancer Society is on the lookout for Volunteers

Do you have a few hours to give? Regularly or casually, there are many roles that may suit you including visiting, driving and gardening.

Papatowai Campsite - maintenance

17 - 21 February 2025: Assistance is required for general tidy up of the campsite and area surrounding the DOC house at Papatowai.

Clutha planting days

Join DOC on a day out restoring and enhancing habitat for the native freshwater fish species that call the lower Clutha River/Mata-Au catchment home.

Nugget Point Lighthouse Reserve – summer rangers

11 November 2024 - 3 March 2025: Volunteer rangers are needed to provide assistance and education to visitors, as well as to maintain facilities at Nugget Point Lighthouse Reserve.
