Trustee Position

The South Otago Health Support Trust (SOHST) is seeking a compassionate person/s with a strong local passion to help others join our trust in providing financial assistance to individuals and families in the Clutha District that require urgent healthcare.

This position includes dedication to attendance at monthly meetings, ability to check correspondence & respond in a timely manner and representing the trust at formal occasions when required. The time commitment for the role would be 1-2 hours per month throughout the year.

Ideally the successful applicant will have strong communication skills, ability to work co-operatively with other trustees, empathetic and a sound knowledge of the health system would be beneficial but not essential.
