Truck Driver / Operator - Class 5

We are currently seeking an experienced Class 5 Truck Operator to support our civil construction projects. This operator will also be required to cart materials into forestry operations, playing a vital role in our diverse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Class 5 trucks to transport construction materials and equipment to various sites, including forestry operations.
Conduct daily vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance as required.
Clean and grease the vehicle as part of routine maintenance.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction and forestry sites.
Assist with loading and unloading materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and vehicle usage.

Requirements: To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
Valid Class 5 driver’s license with Class 5 endorsement.
Experience in truck & trailer driving, preferably with spreading capabilities, and experience within the forestry sector.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to transportation and construction.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities safely.
