Supervisor Rural Reticulation

Role Overview:

As the Supervisor Rural Reticulation, you'll manage a team of technicians and contractors in maintaining and repairing the vital water, wastewater, and drainage networks that support our rural communities. Your role is crucial in ensuring that these essential services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll be at the forefront of protecting public health and the environment, while driving best practices in safety, service delivery, and continuous improvement.

 

Key Requirements:

·         Ability to lead and develop a team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance.

·         General understanding of New Zealand drinking water standards and environmental consenting requirements.

·         Ability to assess risks to personal health and safety, as well as public health and environmental safety.

·         Genuinely committed to providing high quality customer services

·         Excellent communication skills across all mediums—verbal, written, and electronic.

·         Proficiency in using or ability to learn Council’s electronic systems, including Ozone, M-Files, and Microsoft Office.

·         Current Full driver’s license
