Egg Farm Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic person/people to join our team.

Part time, rostered hours, some weekend work, flexible hours to suit family life/school hours. 

Collecting could suit school students looking for part time work, and school holiday work.

The Egg farm is situated on a working dairy farm so relief milking and other farm tasks can be part of the job for a suitable applicant.

Tasks can include-   :Collecting and processing eggs ready for sale.

                                : Feeding Hens, moving Hens, attention to bird health, record keeping.

                                : Selling eggs at the Otago Farmers Market on Saturday morning.

                                : Delivering eggs to Dunedin and Balclutha.

You will be working with Hens.

This is a farm job.  

                          -      It will be dirty at times.

-          You will have to work in all weather.

-          Must be able to work independently and as part of a TEAM.

-          Common sense required.

-          Communication skills needed.

Drivers licence required.

This is a job for a positive person with an uplifting, flexible, no worries attitude.

You must enjoy working with people and have a desire to enter into a working farm and to assist with the ongoing success of our business.
