Based 50 km south of Dunedin, Pan Pac Forest Products (Otago) Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Pan Pac Forest Products Ltd.

Our Despatch Operator is responsible for the daily despatch operations at our Otago site. This includes inventory management and the efficient loading and storage of timber within the despatch area in readiness for fulfilling customer orders.

A Forklift licence with F endorsement is essential and an understanding of inventory management software (ISIS) would be preferred.

As a successful candidate, you will ideally have the following attributes:

• Strong manual dexterity
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good PC skills
• Strong health and safety focus
• Sound judgment with a tactical and pragmatic team approach to problem-solving
• Ability to respond quickly to changes in priorities or urgent requirements when they arise
• Ability to sustain a high level of energy and composure during times of pressure
• Strong work ethic, with a proactive, 'can do' attitude
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
