About the Role:

We are seeking an energetic and reliable candidate to join the team at our bulk fertiliser store in Balclutha. As a key member of our team, you'll be keeping machinery running at optimum levels - and safely - so we're best positioned to support our farmers/shareholders, while you're well positioned for a rewarding job with great scope for growth.

This role provides a variety of learning opportunities each day. The successful candidate will be engaged in driving heavy machinery, operating product blending, despatching and housekeeping. You'll also need the desire and the ability to pick up our computer system and administrative processes. About You:

Previous experience in a front-end loader & customer focused role along with general store/yard work will make you an ideal candidate. Given the work environment and nature of this role, it is crucial you're physically fit and mechanically minded due to the demands of this role. You will need to be comfortable using the controls of a loader and forklift on an everyday basis.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

-Experience in forklift and front-end loader operation with relevant licenses (ideally with WTR)

-Customer Service experience and be an excellent 'people person'

-Mobile plant driving experience

-Positive collaborative attitude and enjoy working as part of a team

-Good interpersonal skills and mannerisms on and off the phone

-Have a reasonable level of computer literacy, capable to pick up Ravensdown's ordering and Stock Management system
