Our property is curated and styled to blend the old with the new, creating a unique New Zealand holiday or bike trail experience. We've added thoughtful touches of luxury to make your stay special.

Our 13-meter-long gully kitchen is equipped for a chef, stocked with everything you need to prepare a four-course meal if you wish. You'll appreciate the 4-meter bar table, crafted from the original wooden floor beams, where you can gather or lay out meals or projects.

In winter, our heating system is a wood-burning fire, which can be prepared and lit for your arrival if you wish. Each bedroom has wall heaters, and the overhead fan provides adequate warmth during cold winter days. For added comfort, hot water bottles are available. Please bring thick woolly socks if you tend to have cold feet around the house.

Our second double room, located downstairs, features a queen memory foam bed with high-quality linen fit for royalty. It also has a small wardrobe, drawers, and shutters on windows that offer views of the street and the late afternoon sun in summer.

The main bathroom downstairs is a space you'll love, with adjustable mood lighting, handmade imported tiles, and gold fittings. Amenities include a smart washer and dryer, hair straighteners, a hairdryer, and luxury room sprays and soaps.

The main bedroom upstairs offers ample space, with a new king-size bed dressed in linen cotton sheets and goose down duvets. The upstairs bathroom features a stone bath for two and heated stone floors. There's also a walk-in wardrobe where you can hang your clothes and store your bags.

Through the large doors, you'll find our yard, which boasts a stunning stone pebble from the very south of New Zealand, giving you the feel of a beach underfoot.
