Old Coach Road

Follow the tidal river, and take the route that horse-drawn carts once took.

Take the right fork at the track's start.

At the track's end point, you can carry on to Old Possumers Track, which is a three-hour loop track (left fork off Old Coach Road).

You will find a car park at the northern end of the bridge over the Tahakopa River, before reaching Papatowai township.
