Clutha Mouth Anniversary Walk
The Clutha Mouth Anniversary Walk is a 1.7 km walkway along the top of the flood bank to the end of the track at the river mouth with views of the coastline and out to the Pacific Ocean.
The Otago Regional Council (ORC) provided this walkway for the community in 1998 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of European settlement of Otago. The ORC's aim in undertaking this project was to restore public access to the mouth of the Clutha River.
The Clutha Mouth Anniversary Walk crosses private farmland. On behalf of the land owner, we ask that you keep to the track and leave all gates as you find them.
This walk is often referred to as the Clutha Mouth Sesquicentennial Walk.
The car park is located over the bridge on Centre Road, Inch Clutha. See map below.
