Photography Assistant – Fine Art Portrait Studio

The Role
Are you creative, motivated, and eager to work in a professional fine art photography studio? We are looking for a Photography Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the creative industry while working with high-end clients.

You’ll assist with photoshoots, help create promotional content for social media, and must be comfortable being on video for educational and social media content. No prior experience is required – full training will be provided!

This position starts with a training period in December and early January, transitioning to part-time work as client bookings grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with photoshoots, including setup and support during sessions.
• Helping create and appear in educational and social media content.
• Providing excellent support to clients with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Contributing to studio tasks such as organizing props, styling, and maintaining a tidy workspace.

About You
The ideal candidate will:

• Have an interest in photography or creative arts (no experience needed).
• Be enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while working with high-end clients.
• Be comfortable on camera for educational and promotional content.
• Bonus: Any interest in makeup, hair styling, or social media content creation is a plus!
